4th of July in Lake Tapps

For the 4th of July we drove up to Lake Tapps, Washington to hang out with Mariah and Scott!!!  It was such a fun weekend with them, highlights include Kyle and I flipping the seadoo in full attire right before we go over to the 4th of July party that Scott's parents put on every year (i have a bad track record w/ jetski's...), Happy BDay to Scott, playing old school lawn darts that I almost killed Mariah with (and she was standing on the same side...yep, I'm that bad), Kyle discovering Sushi Whores (really called Mashiko, but that's their URL for their website, so kyle called to make reservations not knowing the real name and asked the lady "is this the sushi whore?"...mariah ended up calling back to make the reservations because kyle was so embarassed...it is AMAZING sushi on the west side of Seattle for anyone whose interested or just check out their website you sushi whore!), and our first debut on Guitar Hero thanks to Scott:)  They are getting Maui'd in April and we can't wait!!!  Thanks for an awesome weekend you guys!  YOU ROCK!!!

My Sister Jess is an RN. She lives on the east coast. She decided that wasn't far enough. She is in Vietnam on a boat. Here is her goodbye party. She earned the nickaname of Chung Lee in Seattle. You can read more about it at her blog.

ROAD TRIP!

After going to the wedding of our good friends Adam & Jenny Sperling, we road tripped up to Seattle with Jess and Rich for the rest of the long weekend and took in a few Mariners and Red Sox games. Much to the East Coast fans disbelief, and everybody who follow baseball, the Mariners won the series with the BOSOX. It was Jenny's first pro baseball game, and both her and Rich's first time to Safeco Field. We had a great weekend catching up with our friends Scott & Mariah whose house we stayed at while up there and we look forward to spending some more time with them over the 4th of July. We also had an amazing time with Jess and Rich showing everyboyd Kyle's old stomping grounds of Seattle, eating some good meals on the waterfront, on Lake Washington, in Belltown with Kyle's friend Amanda and her brother Tyler. What a great weekend!

My grandma, Delsa A.

My grandma passed away April 26th, and I am so sad for our loss and especially for my mom, but am also so happy for my grandma's reunion with my grandpa and with my aunt karon. She recently finished crocheting a white baby blanket for me to use when we have kids. It is so intricate and beautiful and such a priceless treasure since she made it by hand, that I'm endlessly thankful for. I will miss how she would put one arm around you when she talked and how she always called me Jenny Rae:) Will miss her sweet spirit, until we meet again, love you...

Coffee Culture Catchup

Last weekend (the one that was sunny not snowing) Court and baby Ty came over and we thought it would be fun to have a casual coffee culture catchup with some of the old crew to get to see everyone and their growing families:) 3 dogs, 2 babies, and 1 toddler mixed with good food and drinks made for a great time!

How Do I Do This?

So, Jenny and I are house/dog sitting for my parents and I gave a little joking guilt trip about her reading everyone's blogs, but not updating ours. I was just joking but then she guilted me about the fact that I could update it as well. I replied "Okay, then show me how I do it." I just spent the last 20 minutes going through a process to reset our passwords because we forget them, it has been so long since we have updated! And that is my update!
